NineDot Energy is proposing a massive Lithium-Ion Battery Power Plant right in the heart of our community at 64-30 69th Place. This site is located dangerously close to a daycare, a preschool, an animal hospital, and directly across from P.S. 128.
If combusted, these facilities pose a severe risk of uncontrollable fires, toxic chemical runoff, and neighborhood-wide contamination requiring immediate evacuation. We cannot allow this in a densely populated residential area.
Call the NYC Mayor's Office today and demand answers. Tell them this is an unacceptable risk for our families.
